Product Description
The Scandia Electric Ultra Sauna Heater - Medium is a wall-mounted electric heater for mid-size cedar sauna rooms. It spans 6.0, 7.5, and 9.0 kW, heating the room by convection while you pour water over the heated rocks for steam.
Scandia has built the Ultra line in the United States since 1964. The shell is 22-gauge brushed stainless steel, and an elevated solid rock tray sits above the elements so water poured on the rocks runs off rather than onto the heating elements.
The heater is UL Listed and includes a built-in thermal cut-out. Sauna rocks, a 60-minute timer, a thermostat, a thermostat sensor wall cover, and installation instructions are included. It wires directly into the building on a dedicated circuit, so a licensed electrician makes the connection. The 9.0 kW rating is also available in three phase.
Choose 6.0 kW for rooms up to 294 cubic feet, 7.5 kW up to 448 cubic feet, or 9.0 kW up to 616 cubic feet, at 208V or 240V, with a 60-minute or 24-hour timer and the thermostat mounted on the control box or on the heater.
