The Maxxus Seattle is a straightforward two-person cabin for a first sauna at home. It keeps the essentials and skips the extras, so the step from wanting one to using one stays short.
Reforested Canadian Hemlock and a clear tempered glass door give the Seattle an open, uncomplicated look. Six low-EMF far-infrared carbon panels line the walls and bench for even, radiant warmth. The panels read 5-10 mG measured 2 to 3 inches from the surface.
Multi-color LED lighting (chromotherapy) with a red-light setting sets the tone, and an interior LED control panel keeps operation simple. A built-in Bluetooth and MP3 audio system plays your own sound. The ideal range is 118 to 132°F, reaching up to 140°F.
The Seattle plugs into a standard 120V, 15-amp outlet, so no special wiring is needed; a dedicated circuit is recommended. Clasp-together panels assemble in about an hour with two people, and the cabin is for indoor use only.
