The Cowboy Cauldron Wrangler is a suspended, wood-burning fire pit and grill built from solid, seamless plate steel and made by hand, one at a time. Its 36-inch basin hangs from a single chain on a steel tripod, so the fire sits up off the ground where everyone around it can see it and feel it.
Raise or lower the basin on its chain to move from a low, gathered fire to a working grill height. The elevated bowl lets smoke rise up and away from the people seated around it, and you can get your feet in close on cold evenings the way a ground-level pit will not allow.
Cooking hardware is included, not extra. A charcoal grate and a three-piece chromed steel, truss-reinforced hinged grill let you add fuel and move coals without lifting the grate off, across more than 1,000 square inches of cooking surface. The whole rig sets up and breaks down with a single cap pin and no tools.
The frame is zinc treated and powder coated; the basin carries a high-temperature coating and develops a natural patina with use. A rain cover is included. The Wrangler ships as a 130-pound basin with a separate tripod, so plan for freight delivery and a flat, non-combustible spot to set it.
