The Arteflame Classic 40 is a flat-top charcoal and wood grill built around one idea: a single large steel disc that sears, grills, and griddles at the same time. A center grate sits over the fire for high-heat searing, while the surrounding cooktop runs cooler toward its edge, giving you a full range of heat on one 40-inch surface.
Choose the finish that fits your space. The Classic finish uses spun US Corten (weathering) steel that forms a natural patina outdoors and needs no paint. The Platinum finishes give you a spun stainless steel bowl or a powder-coated base in black, red, or yellow. Every version rides on a tall round base with enclosed storage and a removable stainless shelf.
The half-inch carbon steel cooktop is dished toward the center, so fat drains into the fire instead of pooling on the surface. Lift the cooktop off and the bowl becomes an open fire pit. There are no vents or dials to manage; you build the fire, let it settle, and cook by moving food across the heat zones.
Two accessory packages are offered. The standard package includes the center grill grate and a seasoning puck; the five-accessory package adds a rotisserie, a stainless center lid, and a grill scraper. Plan for two people to assemble and place it, and a spot where it can stay outdoors year round.
