1. Scope and Intent

This Return and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through The Therapeutic Patio website located at www.thetherapeuticpatio.com ("Website").

3. General Return Eligibility

Customers have the right to cancel their purchase and return the product within 14 days of receipt without providing any reason, subject to the conditions outlined below.

• The item must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition that you received it.
• The item must be in the original packaging, with all labels and tags attached.
• A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

4. Return Process

To initiate a return:
1. Contact Customer Service: Email us at support@thetherapeuticpatio.com or call (225) 535-3580 within 7 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number and a detailed reason for the return.
2. Return Authorization: After reviewing your request, we will provide detailed return instructions and, if applicable, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and a prepaid shipping label.

Preparing Your Return:
• Securely pack the item in its original packaging, including all accessories and manuals.
• Include the return authorization form and supporting documents.
• Affix the provided shipping label.

Shipping the Return:
• Ship the package within 7 days of receiving the authorization.
• Use a trackable shipping method.

5. Return Shipping Costs

All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise noted under brand-specific policies.

6. Brand-Specific Return, Refund, and Warranty Conditions

6.1 Arteflame

• Return Window: 14 days from purchase.
• Condition: Must be new, unused, unassembled, and in original unopened packaging.
• RMA Required: Contact info@arteflame.com for authorization. Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the box.
• Restocking Fees: Items not in sellable condition may incur up to a 35% refinishing fee.
• Final Sale: Discounted, promotional, and coupon orders are non-returnable.
• Shipping: Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. If free/discounted shipping applied, actual costs will be deducted. Refused shipments incur shipping costs + 20% restocking fee.
• Warranty: 3-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects (residential use only, non-transferable). Shipping costs for warranty claims are the customer’s responsibility.
• Exchanges: Defective/damaged items replaced at Arteflame’s discretion.

6.2 LuxCraft

• Special Orders: Non-returnable. $50 upcharge per piece. No changes/cancellations after 48 hours.
• Returns: Must be in original condition. Restocking fees may apply.
• Damage Claims: Inspect items immediately upon unboxing. Submit photos via email. Damage after pickup/delivery acceptance not covered.
• Non-Stock/Custom Orders: Final sale, non-returnable.
• Warranty: LuxCraft standard manufacturer warranty applies.

6.3 All Other Brands

• Return Window: Within 90 days of invoice; must be processed within 10 days of receiving authorization.
• Condition: Must be new, in original packaging, resalable.
• Authorization: Required. Returns without authorization not accepted.
• Restocking Fee: 20% restocking fee applies.
• Special Orders/Non-Stock: Non-returnable.
• Freight: Customer is responsible for all return freight.
• Damage Claims: Inspect shipments immediately. Report within 3 days and note on bill of lading. Claims filed with carrier by customer.
• Warranty: Covered directly by manufacturer (e.g., Fire Magic, AOG). Manufacturer terms apply.

7. Exceptions to the Return Policy

• Custom or personalized products.
• Special orders and non-stock items.
• Discounted, promotional, or coupon-code orders.
• Perishable goods.
• Sanitary goods, personal items, gift cards, and downloadable software.

8. Refunds

• Refunds are issued after returned items are inspected and approved.
• Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days.
• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless due to supplier error.
• Partial refunds may apply for late returns or items not in original condition.

9. Exchanges

• Defective or incorrect items replaced at no cost.
• Exchanges due to preference only accepted where brand policy permits, with customer paying freight.

10. Timelines

• Returns must be reported and shipped within the timelines outlined by each brand.
• Refunds processed within 14 business days of inspection.
• Refunds may take up to 14 additional days to appear in your account.

11. Legal Rights

This policy does not override any statutory consumer rights under applicable law.
